An exciting new hotel on Eastbourne’s seafront is getting ready to open its doors.
Port, on Royal Parade, will be the perfect retreat for city folk wanting to escape to the sea for the weekend and is also a welcoming and social space for locals too.
Offering a brunch, evening menu through to cocktails in the evening, Port has a simple but seasonal menu, stocks English wine, beer and spirits and partners with independent companies to support the best local brands.
Of course, the luxury interiors, relaxed environment and flexible ground-floor space (designed for relaxing, socialising and creative workshops) are all huge attractions for London hipsters and locals alike.
But it’s the stunning sea view that makes a stay at Port so special.
Deliberately designed with the UK’s worst weather in mind Port is the perfect sanctuary any time of year.
It’s now looking to recruit staff in time for the opening.
Here’s General Manager Luke Shevels: “Do you have substantial experience in the hospitality sector or hospitality, enjoy working with people and want to be part of something new?
“Then contact me to find out more about this awesome opportunity at the new Port Hotel.
“As we look to open, when the Government permits, we are looking to recruit an experienced person for the ‘Senior Host’ role to the Front of House team.
“Applicants must have in depth knowledge of the areas they will be responsible for including dining, bar and guest services.
“As a Senior Host you will be expected to lead the team when the management team aren’t available so previous team leader experience is a must.”
