Radio DGH has paid a warm tribute to a presenter who has sadly passed away.

Police had asked for the public’s help after Garry Norwood went missing.

Here’s Radio DGH: “It is with great sadness and shock to hear that one of our members, Garry Norwood, has sadly passed away following being reported missing since last Friday.

“Garry was the host of The Thursday Evening Show as well as a much loved member of the team.

“His enthusiasm for Rock n’ Rock really came across brilliantly on air to his listeners – especially when he played tracks by Elvis!

“Garry will be sorely missed by all of us.

“Our thoughts and sympathy are very much with Garry’s family and friends at this incredibly sad time.

“We would also like to thank Garry’s family for allowing us to post this short tribute to him.”
