EASTBOURNE’S newest radio station, SeahavenFM has teamed up with the Morrisons store in Lottbridge Drove to launch the station’s ‘Feed the Family’ competition.

It’s also sponsored and supported by Bournefree and Custard Design.

Morrisons’ Community Champion Kim Hatcher-Davies has been working with SeahavenFM’s Karen Day to make Feed the Family happen. You can help one lucky family win a £200 Morrisons’ voucher which can be used in any Morrisons’ store.

‘Feed the Family’ is one of a series of competitions that SeahavenFM is running this summer. All its competitions will be publicised on social media. Following SeahavenFM on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter will make sure that you know how and when to enter each competition.

The most deserving people are often the last to ask for help. Therefore SeahavenFM is asking you to nominate a deserving family in your community. Winning will help the family to combat the rising cost of everyday food.

Nominating a family is easy. The information you need is on the radio station’s website: www.seahavenfm. radio/feedthefamily/ (or just click on the ‘Competition’ button on the homepage). Your entry can be emailed or posted but it must be received by midnight on Saturday 11th June.

You’ll see the SeahavenFM team out and about across Eastbourne during the summer – they were in the Sunshine Carnival procession and at many other local events. This not-forprofit radio station is committed to publicising local events, providing local information and helping support the charities and other local organisations which hold our communities together. SeahavenFM also provides affordable advertising for local businesses.

You can listen to SeahavenFM on 95.6 FM across Eastbourne and the surrounding area or via your smart speaker. You can also stream SeahavenFM directly from the station’s website www.seahavenfm.radio. If you are on the move the free SeahavenFM app (available on android and apple) helps you keep in touch with the station and the entertainment and local information that it provides. SeahavenFM is a truly local station and you’ll hear people from your community either presenting or participating in the programmes. The station welcomes new advertisers, sponsors and volunteers. ‘Feed the Family’ is just one of the ways that Eastbourne’s newest radio station is helping your community.
