EASTBOURNE Stand Up To Racism will be keeping a close eye on Eastbourne MP Caroline Ansell this week.

The House of Commons will be voting on Wednesday on the issue of child refugees.

An amendment to the Immigration and Social Security Co-ordination (EU Withdrawal) Bill proposes that lone child refugees should have to be reunited with their parents.

Eastbourne Stand Up To Racism says: “The House of Lords has returned the Bill to Commons with the amendment.

“It will be considered on the floor of the House on Wednesday 4th November 2020.

“6 Tory MPs rebelled and voted FOR this amendment when it was first presented to the Commons.

“Caroline Ansell was NOT one of them. She now has a second chance to put this right and show some humanity on Wednesday.

“Please vote for the Dubs Amendment.”
