RESIDENTS in Stone Cross say the traffic levels are just too much and are demanding action from the county council.

Here’s one post this week: “Most of us in Stone Cross are being affected by the traffic issues.

Whether it’s all the new housing putting extra cars on the road with no concern for the infrastructure, the sequencing of the traffic lights, all the road works and temporary lights or a mixture of these, it’s affecting everyone – pedestrians, cyclists and road users alike.

The bypass is also virtually uncrossable now and there really ought to be a pedestrian bridge given there’s a supermarket at the other side.

If you feel as we do here, that all of the above needs to be addressed urgently by the powers that be, have your say and email them at: Customer@eastsussexhighways.com”
