A MAN has told how he watched a Spaniel dog grab a duck in its mouth at a country park today.
Here’s Patrick Johnson: “This morning it was horrible to witness a dog (spaniel type) with a duck from the Hellingly Country Park in its mouth, with the elderly owner well out of sight.
Please Please Please keep your dog on the lead especially around the pond!!
No matter how good you think your dog is at recall, dogs especially working types/spaniels were originally bred as game hunters so be sensible!”
