ONLY dial 999 for an ambulance if it is a serious emergency.

That is the warning from the South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust.

It says: “We are currently extremely busy and would urge the public to only call us if it is a serious emergency.

We are taking longer than we would like to get to our patients and are prioritising our most seriously ill.

If you have called for an ambulance, please only call us back if your condition worsens.

We will get to you as soon as we can. Thanks for your continued support and patience.!
