On the back of last year’s success, organiser, Kim Davies, is making this one bigger and better.

Morrisons Community Champion, Kim, is responsible for raising the profiles of Eastbourne’s local charities, as well as raising much need funds with her imaginative and ambitious events.

In aid of St Wilfrids, the Wheelie Big Vehicle Rally will travel from Morrison, down Lottbridge Drove, into seaside and up to Langney Shopping Centre. It will loop back to Morrisons and then on to Sainsburys on Cross Levels Way, over to the Hospital, on to Decoy Drive then back to Morrisons.

Taking part will be busses, tractors, classic cars and motorbikes, recovery vehicles, refuse lorries, various emergency vehicles, all festively decorated and driven by special Christmas characters.

Prizes will be awarded for Best Dressed vehicle and Best Dressed Driver.

You are all invited to support the Rally along the route and meet back at the Morrisons car park, where Santa will be waiting in his Grotto.

There will be a burger van and icecream truck selling popcorn and candy floss.

Children can have their photo taken with Wilfie Bear and Santa’s helpers from EF Language school will be adding a sprinkle of Christmas magic.

The Wheelie Big Vehicles will be meeting at 5pm, and starting their Journey at 5.30pm

If you’d like to enter, there’s no charge, just a voluntary donation.

Santa’s Grotto is £2.50 per child.
