A SUSSEX children’s charity has launched a new weekly Lottery with the chance to win up to £25,000.
Chailey Heritage Foundation is a pioneering charity providing education, care and transition services for children and young people with complex physical disabilities and health needs.
It is situated on the Haywards Heath Road at North Chailey between Lewes and Haywards Heath, and has young people coming to use its services from many of the home counties.
It has decided to launch the lottery to help boost funds. Entry is just £1 a week and prizes range from £25 to £25,000.
Nina Gopal, Head of Fundraising at Chailey Heritage, said: “We are very excited to be launching our weekly lottery.
“Many of our fundraising events in 2020 have been cancelled because of Covid-19. However, we are very fortunate at Chailey Heritage to have the support of so many people and we truly appreciate every one of them.
“The lottery is a new way of enabling people to help us as we continue to transform lives at Chailey Heritage. Yes, the lockdown has changed the way we work, but the care and happiness of our young people remains paramount.”
You can sign up to the lottery by using the Unity fundraising platform. You will be allocated a unique six-digit number.
The prize draw takes place every Friday and winners must match three, four, five or six digits of the winning number in the correct place in the sequence.
Entry is £1 a week and at least 50 pence from every £1 will go to Chailey Heritage Foundation. The other 50p is used to provide prizes and cover administration.
Nina said: “This means that we can continue to support our children and young people without any ongoing cost.”
There is no need to claim because every Friday, winners will be notified by Unity. You must be over 18 to play and a resident of Great Britain.
