Congress Theatre, Eastbourne

Wednesday 8 March, 7.30pm

The Circus of Horrors return to the Congress Theatre with their sensational new show The Haunted Fairground, 8 March. Enjoy a brilliant rock show combined with amazing, bizarre and dare devil Circus acts, a stellar light show and sensational sets all performed with a forked tongue firmly in each cheek – pure shock ’n’ roll!

Set in a decrepit fairground on the edge of nowhere, haunted by creatures of the unknown who had been ‘Plastinated’ as exhibits in The House of Wax and now brought back to life by a Tesla Coil machine to run amok.

This fang-tastic new show is set to blow your mind with beautifully bizarre circus acts, a sinister story and the darkest of magic, all performed to an original Rock score.

When the Circus of Horrors began 28 years ago at Glastonbury 1995, many people thought it wouldn’t last 28 weeks let alone 28 years, but with its ability to reinvent itself time and time again it has taken the extreme to the mainstream and become a household name after reaching the finals of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent, performing in London’s West End and touring around the world. It has achieved cult status and certainly dragged circus screaming and shouting into the 21st century and beyond.

Whether a Rock fan or theatregoer The Circus of Horrors is a spectacle to behold for everyone (over the age of 16+ years!). The best way to describe this show if you’ve never seen it is: If Quentin Tarantino had directed Cirque Du Soleil then you would be only half way there!

The Circus of Horrors: Haunted Fairground is at the Congress Theatre, Wednesday 8 March 7.30pm. Tickets from £20.50 – £28.50 bookable online at eastbournetheatres.co.uk or call Box Office on 01323 412000. Please note this show is not for the easily offended or children, we suggest age guidance 16+ years.
