Tory Tom Liddiard won the Pevensey and Stone Cross seat in Thursday’s East Sussex County Council elections.

But many locals say they have never seen him, others never even heard of him!

Tom said on Friday: “Thank you so much to all those who voted for me, I am truly honoured you have put your faith me for a second term. I will do my utmost to continue representing all residents to the best of my ability.”

Locals are not impressed.

Here’s William Coulstock: “Where has he been hiding? Never seen him before.”

Caroline Gearing posted: “I was very disappointed in the lack of visibility of any of the candidates. What is his manifesto????”

Joan Umlandt said: “Maybe we should invite him to visit us …..”

Audrey Medhurst said: “Who on earth is he? Is he local? Why have we never heard of him? What are his intentions?”

Nicholas Law said: “Let’s hope we actually see more of him now and that he acts on overdevelopment.”

Oh dear Tom, must do a lot better!
