You will be most welcome at the Anderida Writers AGM, followed by a normal meeting of readings of members’ work and critiques, in the spacious Garden Suite at the Hydro Hotel, Mount Road, BN27 HZ, tomorrow, (Tuesday, April 12th) at 7.30pm.
Guests can attend for a fee of just £4, but will not be eligible to vote.
Subscriptions for full members are £26 for the year and should be paid to treasurer and membership secretary Francis Wait just before the meeting starts. But, as a concession, those who prefer to pay just £10 will be eligible to vote (the balance can be paid at the rate of £4 per meeting at future meetings if anyone prefers to pay by instalments).
We will briefly discuss how ‘woke’ may affect our writing as authors.
Members and guests can then read out extracts of their work, up to 600 words, in the second half of the meeting and have it critiqued by best-selling author Tamara McKinley as well as others present.
Hope to see you tomorrow.
best wishes,
Tony Flood,
Chairman
