THERE is an urgent appeal for water to help Eastbourne’s homeless.

It comes from the charity Warming up the Homeless:

“We are at critical levels of small bottles of still water to give out during outreach.

Without water during the heatwave, rough sleepers suffer as much as they do in sub zero temperatures, just in a different way.

Dehydration is as much of a killer as hypothermia. Water is literally life saving . We would be so grateful if you could donate a small bottle or two next time you shop.

We have collection baskets at the following places or drop off at the Distribution Centre. Thank you SO very much. ( Water doesn’t have to be Buxton, any make will do)
