VICTORIA Coffee Lounge and wine bar has been open for six months – and is proving a massive hit in Eastbourne.
It is situated at 225 Terminus Road – where Mo Mambo used to be – and there really is no better place to eat and drink in this lovely summer weather.
The beautifully decorated shop also benefits from spacious outside seating and bifolding doors. You get the feeling you really could be abroad when sitting here on a summer day.
It opens seven days a week – with late openings on Friday and Saturday until 11pm for cocktails – and is fully licensed to serve alcohol day and night.
Emma, Tony and children Charlotte and Zoe are part of the team, and they’re thrilled how popular Victoria Coffee Lounge is.
Emma said: “It has been a fantastic six months. We have been steadily growing each week, and now we are making the most of the summer sun.
“Our homemade offerings are particularly popular, including paninis and cakes, because they are always fresh.”
There is a bar with beers, cider, wines and of course delicious cocktails.
Drinks on sale include
- Tea, coffee and other drinks
- Iced tea
- Iced coolers
- Delicious cakes
- Tasty paninis
- Freshly made sandwiches and toasties, Jacket potatoes and amazing homemade quiches.
Emma said: “We have a healthy mix of customers – young and old, tourists and locals, and what we enjoy most is when we see people come back because they had such an enjoyable experience first time.
“That is our number one aim – to give every customer a great experience so they want to come back again.
“Daytimes are obviously busy, especially at weekends, and because of where we are situated near to many restaurants, some people come in at 10pm asking if they can have coffee and cake to round off their evening, The answer is always yes.
“We are keen at all times to enhance our reputation and brand awareness. We are still a relatively new business, and we are keen to spread the word where we are and what we have to offer.
“Please come and pay us a visit if you haven’t already. You will not be disappointed.”
