Do you have any spare time you could give to local charity Aspens to help out in one of their shops? Would you like to be part of a friendly, supportive team, meet new people, expand your experience in the workplace, learn new skills and make a real difference to the lives of people on the autism spectrum and with learning disabilities, and their families, in Sussex?

Aspens empowers the people it supports to learn and grow through an integrated network of services including day opportunities, residential care, supported living, community outreach, family support, young people’s groups and a live chatline.

Volunteers at Aspens play an important role in helping the charity deliver its high-quality provision of care and support across the South East. Volunteering in Aspens’ shops is varied, exciting and rewarding, with no two days the same.

Aspens is looking for volunteers at their charity shop in Hampden Park, Eastbourne and would particularly like to hear from anyone who is IT savvy to help with a variety of jobs, including listing items for sale online.

Whatever spare time you have, be it a few hours or days a week, the team would love to hear from you!

If you think this is a role you could see yourself in, please email Samantha.Kirkness-King@aspens.org.uk or call Sam on 07979179986 to find out more
