Radio DGH is the hospital radio station for Eastbourne District General Hospital broadcasting 24/7 to the patients inside the DGH and to those listening online.

“Our aim is to play music for everyone”, says Shaun Crowhurst, Programme Controller (pictured). “We’ve a range of specialist music shows on our schedule, from classical to soul and country to show and film, alongside shows hosted by our volunteer presenters playing music from the 60s to today”.

There’s plenty of ways in which you can support Radio DGH. As a charity, we are funded entirely by sponsorship and donations and are always on the lookout for new sponsors to join our portfolio. We’re always on the lookout for new members to join our team too. Whether it’s presenting on air or helping out behind the scenes, no experience is necessary and full training will be given.

If you’re interested in volunteering with us, sponsoring one of our shows or donating to us then please email and one of our team will get back to you.

And don’t forget, we don’t just broadcast to the patients inside the DGH. We can be heard online via our website, via the Tune In app or through your smart speaker – ‘play Radio DGH’.

We’re also on social media too and regularly post information about what we’re up too – just search Radio DGH on Facebook and Instagram.
