WORLD Aids Day is on December 1 and Eastbourne’s LGBT group says the day must still be marked despite Lockdown.

The Eastbourne BourneOut is organising a socially distanced walk tomorrow.

It will start at 2pm from the Town Hall and people are asked to walk to the Bandstand.
At the Bandstand prayers will be said to mark the occasion and speeches made.
People are then invited back to the LGBT Drop-in Cafe in Mark Lane for food and refreshments.
BourneOut chairman Betty Gallacher said: “This date must never be forgotten even in this time of Covid 19 and Lockdown.
“We want to mark World Aids Day in our own way and we invite others in the town to do the same.”

You can just turn up at the Town Hall before 2pm or indeed go to the Bandstand shortly after.
