THE Wheatsheaf Inn at Willingdon has had ‘a fantastic couple of weeks’ since reopening outside only on April 12.

There has also been ‘lots of new and familiar faces we’ve served.’

Here’s Lesley the boss: “We’ve had lots of positive feedback on the current garden menu and can confirm it will be served until May 16.

“Our new head chef will be in place with a new exciting menu for when we open on Monday 17th… we are now taking bookings for those dining only from May 17th inside.

“We hope to be in the position where drinking and snacking guests can just turn up like they used to.. Sunday and Monday we close at 6pm – food is served until 4pm Sunday and 3pm Monday… things will change as we become normal again.Look forward to seeing you all soon.”
