MANY of you will have watched BBC South East Today last night.

There was a first class investigation into how many people had gone into our hospitals, then caught Covid and sadly died.

The Royal Sussex at Brighton was the main spotlight of the feature.

Sadly, our Trust – which runs the DGH – was one of only two in Kent and Sussex which refused to release the figures.

The question was: how many patients died in the DGH having caught Covid after being admitted to hospital?

DGH management said it wouldn’t be releasing the figures to the BBC because they were currently reviewing the numbers.

Most hospitals were being transparent and open to the BBC.

The DGH wasn’t.

Surely we need to know the figures.
