Willingdon Park Manor is progressing well in Hampden Park.

Here’s an update from DWA Architects:

“The 80 bed Care Home on behalf of Hallmark. has been with DWA from the beginning, receiving planning permission in December 2019 after being conceived and submitted in late 2018.

Willingdon Park’s contractor Savista Developments Ltd. are managing the site competently and exhibiting a good quality of workmanship throughout, with construction maintaining momentum towards the festive break.

Last month, the buildings structure was finalised with the completion of the Metsec framing and weatherboarding; accompanying the R.C. frame cast earlier this year. Robinsons Manufacturing Ltd. have almost installed the entirety of the pitched roof trusses, with the firrings and boarding to the flat roof areas well underway.

The external masonry leaf is constructed well above 1st floor level, establishing the external wall construction for the Ground floor. Internally, Kempowell and Cityserve have almost finished the 1st fix M+E within the largely complete stud wall framing, with boarding fixed up to 1st floor ready for finishing to commence early next year.

The scheme is due to be weathertight prior to the festive break, allowing finishing and detail works to progress internally towards an early-summer completion.

DWA continues to provide support and advice for Savista and their consultants on site, to ensure the project is delivered on programme for the client. As always, we look forward to seeing the project come to fruition over the coming months.”
