Now The Friends of Eastbourne Seafront has been on the case for a long, long time.
It said: “Demolition of the colonnades which are situated close to Pavillion Gardens starts next week. Work is expected to last 26-28 weeks.
It’s expected that Redoubt can be reopened later this year for guided walks and small scale events. We have been campaigning for this for a long time and are hopeful that we can support EBC by providing guided walks and small events later this year.”
